Since May 1997 F.I.V. Edoardo Bianchi has been joining the Swedish group Cycleurope AB, the most important international cycling holding.
The trademarks of Bianchi group - Bianchi, Legnano, Puch and Chiorda - added up to those of Cycleurope - Monark, Crescent, DBS, Kildemoes, Everton, Micmo, Gitane - giving life to a unique group in the bicycle market capable to ensure a wide offer and worldwide distribution.
Cycleurope is now able to implement important synergies among the numerous European leading companies, within which Bianchi is the most distinguished. These synergies target two objectives: the technological development of a customised product and a stronger cooperation with the component manufacturers.
On December 18th 2002 Cycleurope A.B, the Swedish holding of the Grimaldi group, sets up Cycleurope Italia which is in charge of the marketing and sales of Bianchi, Legnano, Puch and Chiorda trademarks, and which strategy aims to provide the necessary logistic to achieve the correct positioning in the relevant distribution channels.
Cycleurope Italia's main goal is the increase of the market shares through a strategic use and exploitation of the Group trademarks, so as to consolidate and further strengthen its leadership even in new distribution channels.
The fulfilment of this new and important project is directly overlooked by Tony Grimaldi, President of Cycleurope AB and Davide Brambilla, Managing Director of the new company Cycleurope Italia.
